The RSA Retractable Security Curtain is a specially constructed, single-piece fabric sewn together from multiple layers of synthetic fibers.
- Prevents an attacking mob from advancing into the building
- Curtain is rolled onto a steel roller pipe, mounted at the top of the structure to be protected
- Once the curtain is fully lowered, a set of linear actuators mounted to the lower ends of the fabric project into predrilled openings in the wall acting as locking pins
- After the crowd event is declared “All Safe” the pins are retracted as the curtain is electronically rolled up into its housing ready for its next deployment
Tested under “real-world” conditions.
A Factory Authorized Test involved 10 minutes of continuous, violent hand cutting with typical knives and cutters. Test results showed no significant damage to the Retractable Security Curtain fabric.
